Privacy & data protection

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how CH Consulting handles personal data when you use this website, contact us, or arrange a discussion.

Last updated · 7 October 2026

01 · Scope

What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to personal data processed through ch2consulting.net and to information you provide when contacting CH Consulting or arranging an advisory discussion. It does not govern third-party websites that you choose to visit from links on this site.

02 · Data we process

We keep website data collection deliberately limited.

Website operation & security

Hosting infrastructure may process technical request data such as IP address, browser/device information, requested URLs, timestamps and security logs. This is used to deliver, protect, troubleshoot and maintain the website.

Analytics

Where you consent to Statistics cookies, Google Analytics 4 may process website usage data so we can understand which content is useful and improve the site. Analytics is not intended to load for visitors who have not granted the relevant consent.

Contact & email

If you email us, we process the information in your message and any contact details you provide so we can respond, assess a potential engagement and maintain the resulting business correspondence.

Meeting scheduling

If you choose to schedule a discussion, Calendly processes the information you provide to arrange the meeting. The Calendly widget is loaded only when you initiate the scheduling flow.

Consent preferences

Our consent-management system stores the choices needed to remember and demonstrate your cookie preferences, including whether Statistics or other optional categories are permitted.

No advertising profile

CH Consulting does not intentionally use this website to sell personal data or build advertising profiles. No advertising or remarketing tags are intentionally configured through the site's source-controlled measurement layer.

03 · Purposes & legal bases

Why we use personal data

We process data only where there is a legitimate business or legal reason to do so. Depending on context, this may include operating and securing the website, responding to your request, taking steps toward a potential engagement, maintaining business records, or processing optional analytics where you have given consent.

Where processing depends on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

04 · Cookies & consent

You control optional website technologies.

CH Consulting uses Complianz to manage cookie preferences. Functional technologies needed to operate the site may run without optional consent. Statistics and other non-essential technologies should only run according to the choices presented in the consent interface.

The detailed cookie inventory, purposes and current services are maintained in our Cookie Policy.

05 · Service providers

Providers used to operate the website and respond to you

We use specialist providers where necessary to operate the website and our business. These may include Hostinger for website hosting, Google services for analytics and business email, Calendly for meeting scheduling, and WordPress/Complianz components used to operate the site and manage consent.

We seek to limit the information shared with each provider to what is reasonably required for the relevant service.

06 · International transfers

Data may be processed outside the EEA.

Some service providers operate internationally. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the transfer mechanisms and safeguards applicable to the relevant provider and processing activity, such as adequacy decisions or approved contractual safeguards where required.

07 · Retention

We do not keep personal data longer than necessary.

Retention depends on why the data was collected. Business correspondence may be retained while an enquiry or engagement remains active and for a reasonable period afterwards where needed for business, legal or accounting purposes. Analytics and consent information are retained according to the settings of the relevant systems and are reviewed periodically.

08 · Your rights

Your data protection rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, or to object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent.

To exercise a right, contact contact@ch2consulting.net. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

If you are in Portugal or otherwise covered by the GDPR, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Portugal, this is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).

09 · Security

Reasonable safeguards

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or loss. No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security, so controls are reviewed as the site and service providers change.

10 · Changes

Policy updates

We may update this policy when the website, analytics setup, service providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
